Welcome to the Echo Highlands Neighborhood Association were we engage input from the homeowner, apartments, condos, businesses, and community stakeholders for our Echo Highlands neighborhood.

Capt. Julie Quigley-Vining

Learn about the East Precinct department of the Birmingham Police as it is their job to serve our area. They are located at 600 Red Lane Rd Birmingham Alabama 35206. For non-emergency related issues they can be reached at 205-254-2685.

Captain Julie Quigley-Vining leads the precinct. The Chief of Police is Scott Thurmond. Currently there is no Crime Prevention Officer and a number used in the past was (205) 254 - 2684.

311 Call Center/ See Click Fix

The City of Birmingham is dedicated to provide excellent customer service for all citizens. Birmingham 311 is the liaison with City departments to handle Citizens' needs. 311 issues service requests with departments and follows up to ensure the request is resolved in a timely manner.

 

See Click Fix is the new 311 application being used by the Birmingham. You can download it on your cellphone or go to https://seeclickfix.com/birmingham 

 

On the website you can open cases as well as view existing cases to see if anyone has opened a case before on the same thing as you. Bring your 311 Request number to the meeting. We want to focus more time on the business of Echo Highlands!

Watch your city council work for you live on Tuesdays starting at 9:30 am every Tuesday. If you don't get a chance to watch it live then watch it later to catch up with what happened during the meeting for the day or you could catch up on old meetings that you didn't know about. It’s all here including the agenda for upcoming meetings.

The meeting are also streamed live from City Council Facebook and that live stream can be found at: Birmingham City Council Facebook Page.

Clinton Woods - District 1 Representative


You may not know but your Birmingham City Council not only broadcasts the council meeting but has its own website that is separate from the City of Birmingham itself. On this site you can find valuable information about your city council.

 

Things that range from who represents what district to the committees that each councilor sits on and chairs, to Birmingham Alabama city maps and contact information for people at city hall. Take a few minutes to check it out I'm sure you will find something of interest!

The Jefferson County Commission is located at 716 Richard Arrington Jr. Blvd North Birmingham Alabama 35203. Via is now available in Eastern Birmingham!


(Via) has expanded into Eastern Birmingham and Echo Highlands. These riders are cheaper than a Lyft© or an Uber© and get cheaper when you have more than one rider. 

 

If we don't use this alternative transportation option we will use it. So for those who need scheduled rides to doctor appointments, to get groceries, or to just run errands when they don't have a car this is perfect for you.
